The annual Devon-based automotive festival welcomed Formula 1 champions, world-class machinery, and a headlining performance by Reef, raising nearly £40,000 for charity.
Lympstone Manor Hotel, Restaurant, and Vineyard was transformed into a high-octane paradise yesterday, July 8, as hundreds of motoring enthusiasts gathered for the highly anticipated Celebration of Speed 2026. Blessed with glorious sunshine and set against the sweeping backdrop of the Exe Estuary, the festival delivered a breathtaking showcase of performance, classic, and rare machinery alongside a star-studded lineup of motorsport icons.
The festival officially kicked off on Tuesday, July 7, with an exclusive, sold-out black-tie Charity Gala Dinner. Hosted by Michelin-starred chef-owner Michael Caines MBE, television presenter Ant Anstead, and 2009 Formula One World Champion Jenson Button, the evening combined world-class fine dining with a high-stakes charity auction. The generosity of the attendees shone through, raising nearly £40,000 for the festival’s nominated charities.
On Wednesday, the estate’s parklands came alive as a curated gallery of supercars, historic classics dating back to the 1940s, and world-class motorcycles parked across the lawns. Key highlights included:

The Motoring Legends: On-stage interview panels featured VIP hosts Jenson Button, Ant Anstead, F1 broadcaster Jennie Gow, former Ferrari F1 race engineer Rob Smedley, and Aaron Shelby—grandson of the legendary Carroll Shelby.
- Unrivaled Displays: Enthusiasts admired rare superbikes such as the Honda RC213V and the Ducati Panigale V4S Speciale, alongside a dedicated Concours d’Elegance celebrating the best historic and modern classic vehicles.
Attendees tested their pace on professional F1 racing simulators, enjoyed the F1 Pit Stop Challenge, and explored the bustling Pitlane packed with Devon’s premium food and drink suppliers.
As the sun set over the estuary and the engines fell silent, the festival transitioned into the energetic Party in the Paddock. UK rock legends Reef headlined the stage, delivering a high-energy performance of their classic hits. They were supported by the definitive Oasis tribute band, Noasis, and a closing house set from internationally renowned DJ and broadcaster MistaJam.
