That’s right – the Pedal Kart Grand Prix is making a triumphant return in 2026!

After months of planning quietly behind the scenes (six to be exact!), I’m thrilled to finally share the news: thanks to an exciting announcement from Jim Parker at Torbay Weekly, this much-loved community event is officially coming back!

Even better, I’m delighted to have the amazing support of Stephen Holdup, Chairman of the Sunrise Rotary Club in Torquay, who will be helping to coordinate some of the logistics that make this event possible.

• Supporting Rowcroft Hospice

This year’s Pedal Kart Grand Prix will once again be held in aid of Rowcroft Hospice, Torquay, a charity that has touched so many hearts across our community. Whether it’s within our own families or among friends and neighbours, Rowcroft’s care and compassion have left a lasting impact on countless lives.

So, not only is this a day full of fun, laughter, and friendly competition — it’s also a wonderful opportunity to give back to an incredible local cause.
